Peace Now Displays Anti-Netanyahu Billboard Near White House During Trump-Netanyahu Meeting

On July 28, 2026, amid the meeting between U.S. President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Washington, the Israeli activist group Peace Now launched a campaign featuring a large billboard on a truck near the White House and along major streets in the U.S. capital. The billboard prominently displayed the message: "THIS IS NOT CHAOS. IT IS A PLAN." alongside the phrase: "AMERICA, YOU CAN'T TRUST HIM."

Peace Now stated that the ongoing settler terrorism in the West Bank is not due to chaos or loss of control but results from a consistent government policy that supports, funds, and protects illegal outposts, farms, and settler terror groups targeting Palestinians. The group accused Netanyahu's government of fueling violence to turn the West Bank into another war front as part of a right-wing messianic annexation vision.

The movement urged President Trump not to legitimize the policies led by Netanyahu, Smotrich, and Ben Gvir, which they claim endanger Israel's security, escalate violence, and undermine any prospects for a political agreement. Addressing Trump directly, Peace Now reminded him of his previous opposition to annexation and called on him not to trust Netanyahu and to act to halt the dangerous escalation in the West Bank.
