Survey Ranks Argentina’s World Cup Fans as the Most Attractive
A U.S.-based survey by The Line has named Argentina’s supporters the most attractive fan base ahead of the 2026 World Cup, even before the defending champions play their first match. The ranking placed Brazil second and the United States third. Mexico finished fourth, followed by France and Croatia.
The poll, which reflected the views of more than 3,000 participants, included 57% men, 42% women and 1% non-binary respondents, with an average age of 37.6. Argentine media outlet Infobae highlighted the result, writing that the report shows Argentine fans stand out not only for their passion for football but also for their looks, and saying this image fits the country’s global reputation and the “unconditional support” seen at every World Cup.
The survey also asked about players and coaches. Brazil was chosen as the most attractive squad overall, led by Neymar and goalkeeper Alisson. The United States and France completed the top three in that category.
Among coaches, Argentina claimed another win, with world champion Lionel Scaloni receiving the most votes and being described as a “head turner.” He finished ahead of Carlo Ancelotti and Mauricio Pochettino. On shirt design, however, American fans preferred the home team: the United States kit was voted the most attractive, with Argentina second and Brazil third. France, Mexico, Croatia, Germany, England, Spain and Cape Verde followed.
