U.S. Survey Ranks Argentina’s Fans and Scaloni as the Most Attractive at the 2026 World Cup
A survey of 3,000 soccer fans in the United States, conducted by The Lines, asked who looked best among the teams, coaches and supporters at the 2026 World Cup. The results favored Argentina in the stands and on the sidelines, while Brazil came out on top on the field.
Among supporters, Americans chose Argentina as having the most attractive fan base of all the teams in the tournament. Brazil finished second, and the United States itself ranked third. Argentina also took the coaching crown, with Lionel Scaloni, the 2022 World Cup winner, named the most attractive coach. Carlo Ancelotti, who leads Brazil, placed second, and Mauricio Pochettino, coach of the United States, came third.
On the pitch, Brazil won the official title of the tournament’s most attractive squad, led by Vinicius Junior and Neymar. The United States finished second and France third. Within the U.S. team, Christian Pulisic was chosen by a wide margin as the most attractive player, followed by Christian Roldan and goalkeeper Chris Brady.
The survey also rated home kits, with Americans picking the United States shirt as the best-looking in the World Cup. Argentina and Brazil completed the top three. Other teams praised for style included France, Mexico, Croatia, Germany, England, Spain and Cape Verde, which rounded out the top ten. The “World Cupid” project, carried out in June 2026, showed participants wide-angle fan photos and official images of squads, coaches and uniforms. The sample was 57% men, 42% women and 1% non-binary, with an average age of 37.6.
