Ariana Grande criticized the White House and President Donald Trump after the official White House TikTok account used her song “bye” in a video showing ICE arrests. She described Trump’s immigration policy as “barbaric, inhumane and disgusting.”
In a reply to the post, Grande wrote, “Please never use my music to support your barbaric, inhumane agenda,” and added, “f*** ICE.” Shortly afterward, the sound was removed from the video and her comment was deleted.
The White House responded through spokesperson Abigail Jackson, who told TMZ, “What’s truly barbaric and inhumane is illegal aliens who have killed and raped innocent Americans.” The exchange came after the White House post, which captioned the clip with “Bye-bye ? President Trump has delivered the most secure border in history.”
