Ariana Grande, who has continued performing for large audiences around the world, has had one of the grants from her emergency fund sent to Save the Children UK, an aid group that also operates in the Gaza Strip. The fund was created as part of the singer’s charitable activity and supports organizations worldwide that help people in crisis.
In a statement, Save the Children UK thanked Grande for the donation and explained that the money would go directly to families in Gaza to help them cope with what it called a severe and cruel situation imposed on them. The organization added, “Although only an end to the occupation can protect the children in Gaza, we will continue to stand by them until our aid ends. Thank you Ariana Grande, your support is making a difference.”
According to the organization, its relief work in Gaza has reached more than 150,000 children and their family members, alongside food distribution, medical assistance, and other humanitarian support. The donation is part of a broader series of grants that Grande’s emergency fund has made to relief organizations around the world.
Save the Children UK publicly thanked the singer and used the message to criticize Israel and call for an “end to the occupation.”
