Wave of Settler Attacks Targets Palestinian Villages in West Bank Following Terror Attack

Following a terror attack in the village of Tal where Binyahu Malt was killed, dozens of Israeli settlers launched a series of violent assaults on Palestinian villages in the West Bank on Friday. Settlers reportedly stormed the village of Far'ata near Qalqilya, as well as the villages of Jit, Beit Furik, Burin, and Iraq near Nablus. They set fires and threw stones at homes, according to Palestinian sources and human rights organizations.

The Red Crescent reported that four people were injured by gunfire during the clashes, with another person suffering a head injury from a stone. All injured individuals were evacuated to hospitals for treatment. In the Ma'ar Rajat area, Palestinians said settlers stabbed a vehicle driver in the back. Earlier, near the settlement of Kedumim, an Israeli civilian reported that a Palestinian vehicle attempted to run him over while he was walking along the road; the vehicle fled but was apprehended shortly afterward.

These incidents come amid heightened tensions following the deadly attack on Binyahu Malt. The family of Malt provided images related to the attack. The situation remains volatile as investigations and security responses continue in the region.
