Trump Weighs Either New 10-Day Ceasefire or Broad War with Iran Amid Gulf Tensions

President Donald Trump faces a critical decision in the ongoing conflict with Iran, with two main options under consideration: endorsing a new 10-day ceasefire proposed by regional mediators or escalating to a broad military campaign alongside Israel. The decision is expected within days, as the current stalemate in the Gulf region limits further maneuvering in the protracted conflict.

Regional mediators including Qatar, Egypt, Pakistan, and others have presented the ceasefire proposal to both the US and Iran. Iranian officials acknowledge mediator efforts but vow to continue strong military responses to US aggression.
