No Charges Filed Against Footballer Omer Dahan in Betting Scandal

The police have decided not to file charges against Omer Dahan, the Maccabi Haifa forward who was loaned last season to Hapoel Ra'anana, in the recent betting scandal in which he was arrested and questioned. A senior police official stated that after the investigation, it was found that Dahan was not involved beyond placing bets himself. Consequently, the decision was made to close the investigation file against him. Earlier, indictments were filed against 10 other individuals involved in the case.
