Israeli singer Omer Adam attended the 2026 FIFA World Cup final at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey on Sunday night and shared photos of the event with his 1.4 million Instagram followers. Among the pictures was one showing Adam posing with Colombian singer Shakira, who performed during the halftime show. Adam was one of several celebrities spotted at the match, including actor Matt Damon, singer Beyoncé and rapper Jay-Z, Rihanna with A$AP Rocky, former footballer David Beckham and fashion designer Victoria Beckham, actor Timothée Chalamet with businesswoman Kylie Jenner, musician Mick Jagger, actress Anya Taylor-Joy, and fashion editor Anna Wintour.

US President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump also attended, sitting in the VIP section alongside FIFA President Gianni Infantino, Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum, Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney, King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia of Spain, Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez, and Spanish Football Federation chairman Rafael Louzán. The final featured a grand halftime show with performances by Madonna, Justin Bieber, K-pop group BTS, and Shakira. Additional artists such as Robbie Williams, Nicole Scherzinger, and Post Malone performed before the match. However, former footballer and BBC commentator Wayne Rooney criticized the musical festivities, calling them "rubbish" despite liking many of the artists.
