IDF Declares Closed Military Zones Ahead of Ministers' March to Gaza Border
The commander of the IDF Southern Command, Major General Yaniv Asor, announced the declaration of closed military zones stretching from the Yad Mordechai junction to the Shaar HaNegev junction along Highway 34, and from Shaar HaNegev junction to Kerem Shalom along Highway 232. This measure is part of the Israeli military's preparations for a large rally planned by the Nahala movement. The IDF is concerned that large crowds might attempt to breach the border into the Gaza Strip during the event.
