Iranian Rial Hits Record Low Against US Dollar at Nearly 2 Million per Dollar

The Iranian rial has plummeted to a new historic low, trading at 1.935 million rials per US dollar. This marks only the second time in history that the rial has fallen below the 1.9 million mark against the dollar. The previous record low occurred briefly in early May, when the currency reached 1.92 million rials per dollar for a few hours.
