Light Rail Service Shortened Due to Ultra-Orthodox Protest, No Stops in Petah Tikva

The light rail in the Gush Dan area has switched to a shortened service following a protest by ultra-Orthodox groups supporting illegal residents. The operator, Tevel, announced that the Red Line's R2 route will now run only between Kiryat Aryeh in Petah Tikva and HaKomemiyut in Bat Yam in both directions. Currently, there is no service at any Petah Tikva stations due to the disruption caused by the demonstration.
