Sequoia and 8VC Lead $45 Million Funding for AI Startup Replacing Sales Teams
Sable, an AI startup founded in October 2025 by Nimrod Ravid, Leon Chen, Linda Hui, and Itamar Rocha, Harvard alumni, has raised $45 million in a funding round led by Sequoia Capital and 8VC. Additional investors include Antonio Gracias from Valor Equity Partners, BoxGroup, SV Angel, and founders from Suno, Hubspot, and Cognition. The company currently employs about 15 people in the U.S. and is actively recruiting AI talent in Israel to expand its team.
Sable’s CEO Nimrod Ravid, who also founded the survived.to.tell initiative to share stories of survivors and hostages after the October 7 attacks and rising antisemitism on U.S. campuses, emphasized Israel’s unique technological talent and the company’s goal to engage top engineers there. As part of this funding round, Sean Maguire from Sequoia and Joe Lonsdale, Palantir co-founder and 8VC managing partner, joined Sable’s board.
Sable’s flagship product, Aidan, is an AI-powered sales assistant designed to streamline complex online service purchases, such as software and AI tools. Unlike traditional chatbots limited to text, Aidan offers interactive, real-time product demonstrations and manages the entire customer interaction. It uses a proprietary technology called Interactive Intelligence, combining browser navigation, computer vision, and speech capabilities to "see" the screen, operate interfaces, explain features, and engage naturally with users.
Aidan operates within a dedicated virtual workspace called LiveBox, providing practical demos, answering complex questions, and guiding customers live. It continuously learns from interactions to improve its responses and identify knowledge gaps. Within less than a year since its founding, Sable has integrated Aidan with companies like Notion, Decagon, and other public firms, aiming to transform the fragmented and frustrating online purchasing experience into a seamless process.
