Prominent Rabbi Yosef Dov Rozenberg Passes Away at 55 in Petah Tikva

A significant loss has struck the Ganei Hadar neighborhood in Petah Tikva with the passing of Rabbi Yosef Dov Rozenberg, who died at the age of 55 after enduring severe illness. Known as a respected Torah scholar and community leader, Rabbi Rozenberg was admired for his wisdom, warmth, and dedication to teaching.

Born to Rabbi Mordechai Binyamin Rozenberg, Rabbi Yosef Dov studied at the renowned Hebron Yeshiva, where he became one of its distinguished alumni. He married the daughter of Rabbi Yehuda Gelbert and settled in Ganei Hadar, where he became a central figure, inspiring many with his joyous demeanor and commitment to Torah education.

In his final days, Rabbi Rozenberg received a visit from the head of Hebron Yeshiva, Rabbi Yosef Hebroni, who brought uplifting news that his only son had been accepted to study at the yeshiva for the upcoming academic year. This brought great joy to Rabbi Rozenberg amid his health struggles.

His condition deteriorated recently, and he passed away surrounded by family and loved ones. The funeral is scheduled for the afternoon at 17:30, starting from his home on Kehilot Yaakov Street 11 in Ganei Hadar, proceeding to Segula Cemetery in Petah Tikva. The community mourns the loss of a beloved spiritual leader and mentor.
