Danny Avdija Ranked 19th Among NBA's Best Players in 2030 Projection
Bleacher Report recently published a forecast ranking the top 30 NBA players in 2030, four years from now. Leading the list is Victor Wembanyama, widely regarded as the future face of the league. Israeli player Danny Avdija, who will be 29 years old in 2030, earned a notable 19th place ranking, positioned above several prominent players such as Chet Holmgren, Alperen Sengun, Evan Mobley, Jalen Brunson, and others.
The report highlights that Avdija's ranking might even be conservative, noting that by 2030 he will be at the peak of his career after completing his sixth season. His projected stats from the 2025/26 season include an impressive 24.2 points, 6.9 rebounds, and 6.7 assists per game, numbers comparable to those of LeBron James at a similar stage. If Avdija can improve his three-point shooting back to the 36.9% level he showed in the two seasons prior to the last (compared to 31.8% most recently), he could become one of the most dangerous offensive forwards in the league.
Additionally, his strong defensive capabilities against opposing wing players add to his value. The report envisions a scenario where Avdija could earn three to four more All-Star appearances between now and 2030. The full top 30 list includes other stars such as Luka Doncic, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Nikola Jokic, and Giannis Antetokounmpo.
This projection underscores Avdija's rising status in the NBA and sets expectations for his continued development and impact in the coming years.
