Pennsylvania Woman Arrested for Obsessive Break-In After One Date
In Bucks County, Pennsylvania, a 30-year-old woman named Lindsay Harris was arrested at the end of June for breaking into the home of a man she had dated only once earlier that year. The man noticed for weeks that items in his house were mysteriously moved or rearranged, leading him to suspect someone was entering his home without permission. When police arrived, they caught Harris climbing through an open window carrying a bottle of red wine and an Italian dessert, apparently attempting to rekindle a romantic evening despite their relationship having ended months before.
The two had met in January via a dating app and went on a single date, after which the man decided not to continue the relationship. According to police, Harris struggled to accept the breakup and developed an obsession with him. The victim revealed he never gave her his home address, yet she managed to find it and had visited at least once before the break-in arrest. Harris was charged with obsessive stalking, trespassing, harassment, and burglary. Authorities are investigating whether she was involved in additional unauthorized entries into the man's home.
