Israeli Couple Discovers Neighbor’s Disturbing Intrusions in Bet El Home

A young married couple in Bet El uncovered a shocking secret about their ultra-Orthodox neighbor after installing hidden security cameras in their apartment. Over six months, the couple noticed strange white marks on the wife’s clothes and disarray in their home, but could not prove anything. Before a planned two-week trip abroad, they installed cameras to monitor their apartment.

Upon returning, the footage revealed the neighbor repeatedly entering their home using a duplicated key, wearing the wife’s wig, underwear, and stockings, and engaging in indecent acts. The neighbor was arrested on suspicion of residential trespassing, property damage, and public indecency. Despite this, he was released after a few days with only a 10-day restraining order and a 30-day no-contact order.

The couple, represented by attorney Lee Asaf Almakaies, filed an urgent court request to extend and strengthen the restraining order, citing ongoing fear and trauma. The wife is undergoing psychological treatment and struggles to feel safe at home. The couple criticized the prolonged delay in the prosecution’s handling of the case, which has lasted over a year.

The attorney described the case as extreme and disturbing, emphasizing the severe violation of the couple’s privacy and mental well-being. She vowed to pursue all legal measures to ensure the neighbor’s permanent removal and restore the couple’s security and peace of mind.

The incident has shaken the couple deeply, turning their home, once a place of safety, into a source of anxiety and fear.
