Doron Ben David Joins New Youth Drama Series 'Evacuated' After 'Fauda'

Doron Ben David, known for his role in the acclaimed series "Fauda," has been cast in a new youth drama titled "Evacuated," set to begin filming soon. The series, produced by Nickelodeon for yes viewers, centers on the sensitive and timely issue of teenagers displaced from their homes in northern Israel due to the "Iron Swords" conflict. Ben David will portray Avi, the father of the protagonist Maor, played by Eyal Levi. Avi is a former competitive athlete and owner of a ninja club in Kiryat Shmona that was shut down following the evacuation. His character balances warmth and strict coaching.

Joining the cast is Netta Carmeli, known for "Sweet" and "Bar Mitzvah," who will play Shahar, a tomboyish and humorous girl evacuated from Kiryat Shmona and training alongside Maor in ninja activities. The series was created by Lior Yaron, Meitar Prahat, and casting director Moran Marciano, with direction by Omer Goldman. Other cast members include Efrat Boimold, Leah Mabel, and Gur Eden.

"Evacuated" follows the Pratoush family, uprooted from their home in Kiryat Shmona to a kibbutz in central Israel, focusing on Maor's struggle as his evacuation interrupts his dream of winning a ninja championship. The show aims to explore the impact of recent conflicts on youth and their families in Israel.
