Daniel Nizri Cast in New Children's Series About Families Displaced by Iron Swords War
Daniel Nizri, a 14-year-old actor who previously starred in the Festigal, has been cast in a new children's TV series titled "Mefunim" (Displaced). The show, created by Lior Yaron, Meitar Prahat, and Moran Marciano and directed by Omer Goldman, focuses on the Pratoush family from Kiryat Shmona, who were evacuated from their home due to the Iron Swords war and relocated to a kibbutz in central Israel. Nizri, who faces a walking disability caused by a birth complication and later developed a rare disease, will play the role of Afik, a sharp and intelligent boy born with cerebral palsy (CP). Following his impressive performance at the recent Festigal, Nizri continues to pursue his acting dreams. Filming for the series is set to begin soon, with the show scheduled to air later this year.
