Hapoel Tel Aviv Set to Sign Tomas Satoransky, Extend Tomer Ginat's Contract
Hapoel Tel Aviv is expected to sign Czech guard Tomas Satoransky for the upcoming season. The 35-year-old, who recently ended his contract with Barcelona, was previously considered by Maccabi Tel Aviv, but they did not pursue him further. Satoransky, standing 2.01 meters tall, played in the NBA for teams including Washington, Chicago, New Orleans, and San Antonio before returning to Barcelona, where he spent four years. Last season, he averaged 7 points, 4.3 assists, and 3.4 rebounds per game.
In addition, Hapoel Tel Aviv plans to extend Tomer Ginat's contract for four years with exit options during the term. Ginat, who had recently requested to leave the club but was denied, will receive a salary increase as part of the extension. The club emphasized his important role for the next season.
Forward Amir Kofi has already joined Hapoel Tel Aviv, and the team has secured contracts for nine other foreign players for the next season, including Vasa Micic, Antonio Blakeney, Tyler Ennis, Elijah Bryant, Ish Wainright, Colin Malcolm, Jonathan Motley, Tai Odiase, and Dan Otero.
