Leaked Documents Reveal Deep Secret Military Alliance Between China and Russia
Leaked classified documents obtained by German magazine Der Spiegel, Russian investigative site The Insider, and French newspaper Le Monde reveal a vast and secretive military cooperation between China and Russia. This alliance, operating under the codename "Russian-Chinese Military Technology Forum," has been active since 2020 and was previously undetected by Western intelligence agencies. The documents expose joint operational plans aimed at attacking Western infrastructure and shifting the global deterrence balance, including in space warfare.
The forum enforces strict security protocols, including dress codes and bans on information sharing, with all materials collected after meetings. The leaked presentations show a strategic division of labor: Russia contributes operational expertise and combat experience, while China provides economic power and advanced manufacturing capabilities in semiconductors, computing, and electronics.
Key technological developments include space warfare systems designed to blind Western reconnaissance satellites using high-powered ground and space lasers, and maneuverable "kamikaze" satellites to disrupt enemy satellites physically or electronically. The two countries also plan to synchronize China's Yaogan satellite network with Russian electronic warfare systems to completely block Western surveillance during conflicts.
Additionally, Russia is assisting China in developing a joint ballistic missile early-warning radar system capable of real-time data sharing, significantly expanding airspace coverage for both nations. They are also working on advanced guidance algorithms to intercept future hypersonic weapons traveling over 5,000 km/h.
The cooperation has already impacted the battlefield in Ukraine, where European intelligence confirms Russian troops have been trained on Chinese AI-guided drones at six sites in China. Over 200 trained Russian operators have returned to the front lines.
The revelations have caused diplomatic upheaval, with Germany summoning the Chinese ambassador for urgent talks. Although Iran was not directly involved in the forum, the alliance's technology transfer model mirrors Russia's previous covert support to Tehran, including drone production. The enhanced Sino-Russian military collaboration is expected to accelerate technology leakage to Iran, potentially challenging Israel's technological edge in the Middle East.
