19-Year-Old Stabbed to Death in Jerusalem Airbnb; Two Seriously Wounded in Haifa Stabbings
A 19-year-old man was fatally stabbed Saturday evening during a fight in the Nahalat neighborhood of Jerusalem. Emergency teams found him unconscious with severe stab wounds inside an Airbnb apartment on Shirizli Street. Despite prolonged resuscitation efforts and transport to the hospital, he was pronounced dead. Police launched a manhunt for four suspects and set up roadblocks on Begin Road. Jerusalem District Commander Asaf Avidan and his deputy arrived at the scene, and the investigation was assigned to the Crime Fighting Unit in the Zion area. Witnesses and neighbors reported ongoing criminal activity in the building, including drug dealing and prostitution, which they had previously reported to police without effective response.
In Haifa, two men aged 30 and 35 from Basmat Tivon were seriously injured in stabbing attacks near the Student Beach. Both were conscious when found and received life-saving treatment before being taken to Rambam Hospital. Shortly after, another stabbing victim was reported on Andrei Sakharov Street in Haifa and was hospitalized in moderate condition. Police have opened investigations into both incidents.
Earlier on the same day, a 32-year-old man was critically wounded in a shooting on Jerusalem Boulevard in Jaffa, near the Arliech light rail station. Police from the Jaffa station responded promptly, securing the scene and beginning an investigation. These violent incidents highlight ongoing security challenges in multiple Israeli cities.
