Legendary Israeli Producer Miriam Etzioni Passes Away at 87

Miriam Etzioni, Israel's pioneering cultural and entertainment producer, has died at the age of 87. Recognized as one of the most influential producers in Israel, Etzioni received lifetime achievement awards from ACUM, AMI, and the Producers and Agents Association for her significant contributions to the performing arts.

Throughout her career, Etzioni served as the personal manager for numerous prominent Israeli artists, including Hana Laszlo, whom she supported for nearly the entirety of Laszlo's career. Other notable artists she managed include Chava Alberstein, Dudu Fisher, Israel Poliakov, Gavri Banai, Izhar Cohen, Uri Banai, Gilat Ankori, Nathan Datner, Odia Koren, and Arnon Zadok.

Hana Laszlo shared with ynet that she and Etzioni worked together for 48 years, describing Etzioni as her "cultural mother" who nurtured both her and Chava Alberstein. Etzioni's legacy is marked by her deep influence on Israeli stage art and her dedication to artist development.
