Russian Opposition Candidate Boris Nedzhdin Officially Declared Foreign Agent

Boris Nedzhdin, who ran against Vladimir Putin in Russia's 2024 presidential election but was disqualified by the Central Election Commission, has been officially designated as a "foreign agent." Recently, Nedzhdin submitted documents to the Central Election Commission to run in the upcoming parliamentary elections later this year. However, this new designation as representing foreign interests will bar him from participating in those elections as well. Nedzhdin is known for his stance supporting an end to the war in Ukraine.
