A 35-year-old woman was seriously injured by a boat engine near the Lido beach in Tiberias on Saturday. The Israeli emergency medical service (Magen David Adom) maritime unit rescued her from the water and transported her to Poriya Medical Center with severe limb injuries. Paramedics Yair Erezi and Eyal Hadar, along with boat operator Eyal Landsman, responded immediately after receiving the report of the accident. They found the woman conscious but suffering from serious lower limb wounds. She was treated on the MDA sea ambulance and then transferred to a mobile intensive care unit for continued medical care during transport to the hospital.
