Top EuroLeague Free Agents Seek New Teams Ahead of Upcoming Season
With the new EuroLeague season set to begin in about two and a half months, teams are actively announcing new signings. Many players who entered the summer as free agents have already secured new contracts, but several notable names remain on the market searching for their next destination.
Among the most prominent free agents is Mike James, a 35-year-old guard standing 1.85 meters tall. James averaged 16.4 points, 6.5 assists, and 3.5 rebounds last season with Monaco. After five years with the club, he is looking for a new team with a substantial budget following a failed deal with Barcelona.
Other key free agents include 36-year-old forward Will Clyburn (2.01 meters), who averaged 13.8 points and 4.2 rebounds last season with Barcelona; 27-year-old center Moses Wright (2.07 meters), who posted 13.2 points and 6.5 rebounds with Žalgiris; and 34-year-old guard Tomas Satoransky (2.01 meters), who averaged 7 points, 4 assists, and 3.4 rebounds also with Barcelona.
Additional free agents are centers Willy Hernangómez (32 years, 2.09 meters) from Barcelona, Rolands Šmits (31 years, 2.08 meters) from Anadolu Efes, and Omer Yurtseven (28 years, 2.13 meters) from Panathinaikos. Guards Frank Ntilikina (27 years, 1.94 meters) from Olympiacos and Brandon Boston Jr. (24 years, 1.98 meters) from Fenerbahçe are also available.
As the transfer window progresses, these players continue to seek new contracts with EuroLeague teams, with some deals still pending. The upcoming weeks will likely see further movement as clubs finalize their rosters ahead of the season start.
