IDF Central Command Officer Arrested for Suspected Weapons Theft from Unit Base

An officer from the IDF Central Command was arrested on suspicion of stealing weapons from his unit's base, according to the elite Duvdevan Unit and IDF Spokesperson. The incident, which occurred within the last 24 hours, has caused shock within the unit. Following initial evidence collection, the Military Police Investigations Unit (MPIU) detained the officer along with another military personnel. Both suspects were transferred for interrogation and subsequently brought before a military court, where the officer's detention was extended for further investigation.
