Hapoel Holon Signs Power Forward Greg Lee for Upcoming Season
Hapoel Holon officially announced the signing of 28-year-old power forward Greg Lee, who stands 2.06 meters tall, ahead of the next basketball season. Lee joins the Israeli team from the French club La Rochelle, where he averaged 10.1 points, 4 rebounds, and 1.6 assists per game this past season.
Lee completed his college basketball career at Western Michigan University, posting averages of 13 points, 7.2 rebounds, and 2.6 assists per game. After college, he played professionally in Europe, including stints with Brno in the Czech Republic, where he averaged 13.8 points, 6.8 rebounds, and 2.1 assists, and KTE Duna in Hungary, with averages of 15.6 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 1.9 assists per game.
Hapoel Holon's head coach, Predrag Krunić, praised Lee as a physical power forward with good outside shooting and strong defensive skills. The club's professional manager, Daniel Ravitz, highlighted Lee's excellent shooting, mobility, and athleticism, emphasizing that Lee fits a key role in the team's fast-paced playing style.
