Israeli Media Figure Oved Perl Transfers PR Firm to Ashdir Group, Plans New Career Chapter
Israeli media professional Oved Perl announced that his public relations and strategy firm, "Prasum Oved," has been fully transferred to the Ashdir media group. Perl, who founded and developed the firm over several years, stated that the office's operations will continue under the "Prasum Oved" brand within Ashdir, which also publishes newspapers such as "Shabaton" and "Matzav HaRuach." Key staff members Shmuel Shachor and Liran Fox will remain leading the PR activities under the new ownership.
Perl expressed gratitude to Ashdir owners Eli Atzion and Shuki Golovinsky, as well as to his longtime employees, emphasizing the importance of letting go to allow growth. He described this transition as the end of a significant professional chapter but affirmed his ongoing commitment to writing, consulting, and working in strategy, communication, and policy. Perl also revealed that he has been coping with post-traumatic stress disorder following hundreds of reserve duty days treating fallen soldiers during the recent conflict.
This move marks a strategic shift for Perl, who plans to focus on personal and professional growth beyond his previous business leadership role. The PR firm will maintain its brand identity and continue its operations seamlessly under Ashdir's umbrella, ensuring continuity for clients and staff alike.
