Israeli Police Arrest Two Leaders of Hariri Crime Organization in Major Raid

In a targeted operation by the National Unit for Serious and International Crime Investigations (Yahbal) within Lahav 433, Israeli police arrested two senior leaders of the Hariri crime organization, a prominent criminal group operating in the Triangle area. The arrests were made on suspicion of illegal possession of weapons and violating administrative restriction orders issued under the Public Protection from Crime Organizations Law. These orders included house arrest, travel bans, and prohibitions on contacting other gang members.

The operation, conducted in cooperation with the Metpa Unit and the Northern National Guard of the Border Police, involved searches during which weapons were seized. The police emphasized that this action is part of an ongoing campaign against organized crime and violent conflicts within the Arab community. Following the arrests, the Magistrate's Court extended the suspects' detention until July 14, 2026, while investigations continue.

The Hariri crime organization has long been known to law enforcement, with its leaders previously implicated in investigations related to violent crimes, extortion, weapons offenses, and organized crime. Recently, the police have increased the use of administrative restriction orders against crime bosses to limit their criminal activities even when immediate prosecution is not feasible.
