Israeli Police Arrest Two Senior Members of Hariri Crime Organization Including Leader's Brother

Israeli police have arrested two senior figures in the Hariri crime organization, including the brother of the group's leader, Nasser Hariri. The arrests took place as part of a focused operational campaign by the Lahav 433 unit and the National Unit for Combating Crime in the Arab Sector (Yahbal) against organized crime groups. Both suspects were already subject to arrest warrants and administrative restrictions intended to protect the public, including house arrest, travel bans, and prohibitions on contact with other gang members. However, they allegedly violated these restrictions and continued their criminal activities.

The operation was led by Yahbal detectives in cooperation with the Metpa unit and the Northern National Guard of the Israel Border Police (MAGAV). During the searches, police seized weapons from the Hariri crime group. The suspects' detention has been extended until July 14, 2026, as investigations continue. This move represents a significant blow to the Hariri organization, which is a major criminal network in the Arab sector of Israel.
