Netanyahu, Katz, Herzog Attend IDF Wings Ceremony Amid Iran Tensions
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, President Isaac Herzog, Defense Minister Israel Katz, and IDF Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir participated in the 192nd IDF Wings Ceremony on Thursday evening. The event took place against the backdrop of escalating tensions with Iran.
During the night, the U.S. military announced it had struck approximately 90 military targets in Iran, including air defense systems, coastal surveillance and reconnaissance assets, missile and drone storage sites, naval capabilities, and military logistical infrastructure along Iran's coast.
In retaliation, Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps launched ballistic missiles and drones targeting Bahrain and Jordan. The IRGC claimed to have hit the enemy's command and control center in the Middle East and the Al-Azraq Airbase in Jordan with 10 ballistic missiles. They warned that if the U.S. repeats its aggression, other American bases in the region would not be immune to their heavy firepower.
