Azrieli Group Seeks Partner for Green Mountain Data Center Firm Valued Up to 5 Billion Euros
Azrieli Group, led by Dana Azrieli, has engaged Goldman Sachs to find partners for its data center company Green Mountain. The move aims to raise about 1 billion euros, valuing Green Mountain between 4 and 5 billion euros (approximately 14 to 17 billion shekels), according to capital market estimates. This follows Azrieli's 2021 acquisition of Green Mountain for just 2.8 billion shekels, after which the group expanded the data center operations significantly.
Green Mountain currently manages assets worth around 14 billion shekels, operating four data centers in Norway and another near London as of the end of Q1 2026. The company serves major clients including TikTok and supports computing activities in artificial intelligence, a sector that has driven strong global demand for data centers. Despite regulatory concerns and investor caution amid a cooling IPO market, Azrieli is pressing ahead with the capital raise to capitalize on the booming AI-driven data center economy.
The partnership search reflects Azrieli's strategy to leverage Green Mountain's growth potential in the expanding global data center market. The company’s substantial asset base and key international clients position it well for further development. Goldman Sachs' involvement underscores the significance of this transaction in the tech infrastructure sector.
