Hapoel Tel Aviv Negotiates with Israeli Guard-Forward Shalev Lugasi

Hapoel Tel Aviv is in talks to strengthen its Israeli roster by signing guard-forward Shalev Lugasi, according to reports from "Shnayim Ohazin." Lugasi, 24 years old and 1.95 meters tall, played last season for Bnei Herzliya, where he served as team captain. Under his leadership, Herzliya finished the regular season in fourth place but was eliminated in the playoff quarterfinals by Hapoel Holon.

During the regular season, Lugasi averaged 9.2 points, 4.5 rebounds, 1.4 assists, and 1.1 steals per game, with an efficiency rating of 9.4 over 22.1 minutes per game. In the playoffs, he contributed 2.5 points, 2.5 rebounds, 2.0 assists, and 1.0 steals in 23 minutes per game. Hapoel Tel Aviv aims to bolster its Israeli core ahead of the upcoming season by potentially adding Lugasi to their squad.
