Maccabi Haifa Plans Gradual Return for Injured Winger Manuel Benson

Maccabi Haifa has concluded its training camp in Hungary and returned to Israel as the club prepares for the upcoming season. The team is focusing on the recovery of winger Manuel Benson, who is still rehabilitating from an injury sustained near the end of last season. According to the medical staff, Benson is expected to gradually resume training once the team is back in Israel. Considered one of the higher earners in the squad, the club views Benson as a key player for the new season despite his current incomplete recovery.

In addition to Benson, two defenders, Yila Bataei and Daniel Golani, did not participate in the last friendly match. Bataei was rested after sustaining a blow, while Golani experienced fatigue, prompting the coaching staff to avoid risks ahead of further preparations. Meanwhile, Maccabi Haifa is intensifying its search for a foreign center-back, as it appears that Radinio Blacker is unlikely to join the club. Furthermore, if Pedro does not impress soon, the club plans to sign another foreign defender potentially at his expense.
