Iran Warns No American Soldier Will Return Alive Amid Trump Threats to Seize Kharg Island

Iran sharply responded to repeated threats by U.S. President Donald Trump to seize the strategic Kharg Island. Ibrahim Razai, a member of Iran's National Security Committee, issued a direct warning on social media, stating, "Come, we are waiting for you, no American soldier will return alive." This statement came shortly after extensive U.S. strikes targeted Iranian sites overnight.

Razai emphasized that Iran is unfazed by American threats and cautioned Washington that any attempt to invade Kharg Island would end in failure and significant American casualties. The tensions escalated following Trump's remarks about Iran's behavior, including attacks on ships in the Strait of Hormuz, and his warning that the U.S. might strike again.

Trump also addressed concerns over Iran's nuclear ambitions, asserting that the U.S. does not want Iran to have nuclear weapons and has made progress in disarmament efforts. He criticized Iran for allegedly reneging on agreements and described the regime as unstable and historically aggressive in the Middle East. Trump reiterated that the U.S. presence in the region aims to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear arms.
