American basketball guard Rivaldo Suarez, aged 26 and standing 1.98 meters tall, officially signed a one-year contract with Hapoel Holon on Wednesday, with an option for an additional season. Suarez joins the Israeli club from Dziki Warszawa in Poland, where he averaged 11.1 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 1.4 assists per game this past season. This marks his second professional stint outside the United States, having previously played for Telekom Baskets Bonn in Germany.
Suarez began his college basketball career at the University of Oregon and finished at the University of Oklahoma, where in his final season he averaged 10.5 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 1.4 assists per game. Daniel Ravitz, Hapoel Holon's professional manager, praised Suarez's versatility, defensive intensity, and athleticism, highlighting his contribution to winning the Northern European League championship and reaching the league semifinals as a key player.
