American Guard Rivaldo Suarez Signs One-Year Deal with Hapoel Holon

American basketball guard Rivaldo Suarez, aged 26 and standing 1.98 meters tall, officially signed a one-year contract with Hapoel Holon on Wednesday, with an option for a second season. Suarez joins Holon from Dziki Warszawa in the Polish league, where he averaged 11.1 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 1.4 assists per game this past season. This marks his second professional stint outside the United States, having previously played for Telekom Baskets Bonn in Germany.

Suarez began his college basketball career at Oregon and finished at Oklahoma, where in his final season he averaged 10.5 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 1.4 assists per game. Daniel Ravitz, the professional manager of Hapoel Holon, praised Suarez's versatility and defensive intensity, highlighting his athleticism as a perfect fit for the team's playing style. Ravitz also noted Suarez's recent success, including winning the Northern European League championship and reaching the league semifinals as a key player.

Holon expects Suarez to continue his upward trajectory and make a significant impact in the Israeli Basketball Premier League this season.
