Guard Rivaldo Suarez Signs with Hapoel Holon After Strong Season in Poland

Hapoel Holon is advancing its preparations for the 2026/27 basketball season by signing guard Rivaldo Suarez. The 26-year-old American, standing 2.01 meters tall, finalized his contract with the Israeli club on July 7, 2026. Suarez has spent the past two seasons playing in Europe after a three-year collegiate career in the United States. He played two years at the University of Oregon before transferring to the University of Oklahoma, where he posted his best NCAA season with averages of 10.5 points and 4.8 rebounds per game.

In the 2024/25 season, Suarez moved to Europe, joining Telekom Baskets Bonn in Germany. Last season, he played for Dziki Warszawa in Poland, where he impressed with averages of 11.1 points per game, shooting 36.8% from three-point range, along with 4.1 rebounds and 1.4 assists. He helped his team reach the semifinals of the Polish league, contributing 9.9 points and 5.6 rebounds over nine playoff games. Suarez is expected to strengthen Hapoel Holon's roster as they prepare for the upcoming season.
