Israeli Police Arrest 24 Suspects in Ar'ara Operation Seizing Weapons and Cash
Israeli police and Border Police conducted a large-scale operation yesterday in the Bedouin town of Ar'ara in the Negev as part of the "Iron Net" campaign targeting individuals involved in criminal conflicts. During the searches, authorities confiscated two handguns, ammunition, swords, ski masks, combat gear, and approximately 204,000 shekels in cash along with foreign currency. Twenty-four suspects were arrested, some in connection with a recent vehicle arson incident in the community. Several of those detained remain in custody for further investigation, while others were released under restrictive conditions.
