Iran Fires At Least Two Missiles At Commercial Ships Near Strait Of Hormuz

A U.S. official told Axios that Iran launched at least two missiles targeting commercial vessels passing through the Strait of Hormuz. Earlier, the United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) reported that a tanker sailing near Oman was attacked with "unknown armaments." The tanker was approximately 15 kilometers south and east of the port of Lima in eastern Oman when the incident occurred. A fire broke out on the vessel, but there were no casualties or environmental damage reported.
