Previously, wardrobes were always positioned against walls, hidden and purely functional. Now, large custom cabinetry units are increasingly placed in the center of master suites, serving as spatial dividers between the sleeping area and adjoining walk-in closets or bathrooms. This approach reduces the use of walls, creating more open space and integrating multiple functions into a single element.

Tamir Raz, CEO of Delkov Closets, explains that the wardrobe's role has expanded beyond mere clothing storage. It has become a key organizer of the entire room's layout. However, this central placement presents design challenges, as the unit must look flawless from every angle without any hidden sides. It also often incorporates technological features such as televisions and smart internal storage solutions.
