Kinneret Beach Worker Rescues Injured Common Buzzard and Calls Wildlife Ambulance

During a routine patrol at Gofra Beach near the Sea of Galilee, beach worker Roy Dimri discovered a Common Buzzard severely injured in its legs. He immediately took the bird to the beach office, placed it in a padded box, offered it water, and called a wildlife ambulance for further treatment. Dimri emphasized the rarity and protected status of the bird and expressed hope that it would recover and return to the wild. He also urged the public to protect injured animals and promptly hand them over to professionals.

The Kinneret Cities Association noted that strong winds during nesting season often cause young birds to fall from high nests and get injured. In such cases, beach teams provide shelter from predators and coordinate with experts to ensure the birds receive proper care before being released back into nature.
