Cybersecurity Unicorn Cyera Nears $700M-$1B Acquisition of Israeli Oasis Security
Cyera, a cybersecurity unicorn valued at $12 billion after a recent $600 million funding round, is in advanced talks to acquire Israeli cybersecurity firm Oasis Security for between $700 million and $1 billion. Since its founding in 2021 by CEO Yotam Segev and CTO Tamar Bar-Eilan, both alumni of Talpiot and Unit 8200, Cyera has raised a total of $2.3 billion. Oasis Security, established in 2022 by CEO Danny Brickman and Product VP Amit Zimmerman, has raised approximately $195 million to date.
Cyera’s latest funding round will partly finance this acquisition, supporting its efforts to advance AI-based product development. Although Cyera is private and does not disclose revenues, it is estimated to generate over $200 million in annual recurring revenue (ARR). The company’s ARR has tripled over the past three years, reflecting strong demand for cybersecurity solutions. Over the last 18 months, Cyera has expanded to more than 1,500 employees across 18 countries and completed five acquisitions, including Ryft and Genie, enhancing its platform’s capabilities in managing and monitoring AI systems at scale.
Cyera’s client roster includes major companies such as Paramount, Chipotle, Valvoline, Hollister, and DocuSign. The acquisition of Oasis Security is expected to further strengthen Cyera’s position in the cybersecurity market, particularly in AI-driven security solutions.
