Paralympic Taekwondo Champion Asaf Yasour Marries Fellow Israeli Taekwondo Star

Israeli Paralympic taekwondo medalist Asaf Yasour married his longtime partner, Noa Price, in a ceremony held on Sunday. The couple, who got engaged nearly a year ago, met during training sessions and have maintained a relationship for four years before deciding to wed and start a family in Israel.

Yasour, who lost both hands in a childhood accident involving an electrical cable, underwent 15 surgeries and extensive rehabilitation at Sheba Medical Center. Despite his injury, he pursued taekwondo, becoming a leading figure in the sport. His achievements include gold medals at the 2024 Paris and 2026 Munich Paralympic Games, consecutive world championship golds in Turkey (2021) and Mexico (2023), as well as European and U.S. Open titles.

Noa Price, Yasour's new wife, is also an accomplished taekwondo athlete, having won the Israeli national championship 12 times. The couple's shared dedication to the sport and their mutual support have been central to their relationship and success. Yasour expressed that his wedding ring "will be in his heart," symbolizing the deep personal significance of the union.

Their marriage marks a joyful milestone for both athletes as they continue to represent Israel in international para-sport competitions and build their life together.
