Hapoel Tel Aviv Heads to Slovakia Training Camp Without Anas Mahamid
Hapoel Tel Aviv is departing today for a ten-day training camp in Slovakia near Bratislava as part of their preparations for the 2026/27 season. The team will play three friendly matches against Czech and Slovak opponents: FC Zlín on July 8, Dunajská Streda on July 11, and Dukla Banská Bystrica on July 14. These matches are designed to help the team build fitness and tactical cohesion ahead of the new season.
Notably, striker Anas Mahamid will remain in Israel and will not join the squad in Slovakia. However, players including goalkeeper Raviv Ouziel, Omri Levi, and Or Yisraelov will participate in the camp. The coaching staff plans to use the camp to evaluate the squad, integrate younger players, and emphasize tactical work to implement the coach’s playing philosophy.
This training camp is a key step in Hapoel Tel Aviv’s preseason preparations, focusing on improving team rhythm and readiness for the upcoming league campaign.
