Hapoel Tel Aviv Begins Slovakia Training Camp Ahead of European Matches
Hapoel Tel Aviv has embarked on a ten-day training camp in Bratislava, Slovakia, as part of their preseason preparations. Coach Aliniv Breda spoke at Ben Gurion Airport, expressing excitement about the team reuniting after players returned from national duties. He emphasized the camp's focus on tactical improvements and physical conditioning, aiming for thorough preparation ahead of the season. Breda noted that while excitement for upcoming matches will build closer to game time, the current priority is team cohesion and fitness.
During the camp, Hapoel Tel Aviv will play three friendly matches: against Czech side FC Zlín on Wednesday, July 8 at 12:00 Israel time, followed by games versus local Slovak teams Dunajská Streda on Saturday, July 11 at 19:00, and Dukla Banská Bystrica on Tuesday, July 14 at 17:00. After returning to Israel, the team will face Beitar Jerusalem in the Toto Cup quarterfinals on July 18 at the Bloomfield Stadium. Subsequently, Hapoel will travel for two Conference League qualifying matches against Ludogorets on July 23 and 30.
