Thousands Visit Rabbi Isaac Gabara's Tomb in Majd al-Krum for Annual Pilgrimage
On the holy day of Rabbi Isaac ben Rabbi Isaac Gabara's yahrzeit, tens of thousands of people traveled to the village of Majd al-Krum to visit the revered tzaddik's tomb. For the first time, organizers prepared in advance by establishing a special "Mehadrin Path" to allow the massive crowd to move smoothly and continuously while praying at the sacred site for communal and personal salvation.
Security personnel and marshals directed the large influx from the village entrance to the tomb area, using alternate routes to minimize disruption to local residents. Despite occasional congestion and pressure on access roads, security forces quickly managed the situation thanks to the spacious and well-prepared site. Special shuttle services operated nonstop, transporting thousands from large parking areas near "Eretz Kedem" and surrounding roads.
Throughout the night, prayers, supplications, and Psalms were recited with deep emotion, filling the air. Among the crowd were prominent rabbis, public figures, and descendants of the tzaddik, who came to pray. The event underscored the community's faith in the tzaddik's merit to protect all of Israel.
