Chef Yarden Zarhi Dies After Three-Week Battle Following Cardiac Arrest
Yarden Zarhi, a 30-year-old chef at the Ruben restaurant chain and father of two, passed away after fighting for his life for approximately three weeks following a cardiac arrest. Zarhi collapsed at his home after feeling unwell and was rushed to the hospital in critical condition. He remained sedated and on a ventilator during this period, while family, friends, and local residents prayed for his recovery.
Colleagues described Zarhi as a compassionate individual who was always eager to help others. Among his charitable efforts was preparing meals for Holocaust survivors alongside friends, reflecting his generous spirit and continuous desire to assist those in need. His funeral took place last night at the cemetery in Gan Yavne, where his family is now sitting shiva at their home on HaMeginim Street 22 in Gan Yavne.
