Israel Wins European Wheelchair Basketball B Division Championship

Israel's men's wheelchair basketball team secured first place at the European B Division Championship on July 5, 2026, defeating Slovenia 64-50 in the final. Coached by Lior Dror, the young and talented team demonstrated strong performance throughout the tournament, finishing first in the group stage with wins over Bulgaria, Latvia, Croatia, and Slovenia. Earlier, Israel guaranteed promotion to the A Division by beating Portugal 65-32 in the semifinals.
